Fashion e-retailer Yep-Me plans to open 400 stores by the end of this financial year. The company based in Gurgaon, which has four stores in the suburban city, has identified cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ludhiana, Latur, Noida, among others for expansion through franchise route. Most of the company’s stores in metros or big cities will be company owned and operated while those in tier II towns will be franchisee owned and operated. From the four outlets in Gurgaon, the company is doing five times more than what they do from online sales in the same city. Shipments of goods bought from its website in smaller towns will be made directly from the stores rather than the company’s warehouse. Opening of the new YepMe physical stores would bring fresh business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-shop displays, designs, branding, among others.
