UNINET develops DTF 1200 for short-run production

UNINET, which manufactures white toner transfer, DTF, UV DTF and digital printers for decorators and print shops, plus the supply of software to run them, has developed DTF 1200, a compact, roll-fed direct-to-fill printer for short-run and on-demand custom apparel production. Featuring a 13-inch print width and dual professional inkjet printheads, the system produces full-colour transfers for light and dark garments at speeds up to 45sqft/hr. The printer uses CMYK and white ink to create designs without weeding. Applications include custom apparel, sportswear, accessories and textile décor, with transfer settings selected for the fabric and consumables in use.

Production features include an automatic roll feeder, a built-in film cutter, scheduled automatic printhead cleaning and a white ink management system designed to reduce settling and help limit clogging. A humidity and temperature sensor, platen heating and a vacuum suction platform support consistent film handling and printing. The printing system includes ProRIP software for file preparation and white and colour management, training and onboarding, CMYK and white inks, transfer powder, a film roll, and a starter bundle of maintenance supplies and accessories. Shops can apply powder manually or pair the printer with the optional UNINET DTF 14 automated powder application & curing machine. Sold separately, the unit automates powder application, curing and drying.
