Teabox plans to expand its offline presence in Mumbai and Bengaluru

Online tea seller Teabox has plans to expand its offline presence and open four more experience centres by the end of this year in Mumbai and Bengaluru. So far, it has two such stores at the airports of Mumbai and Bengaluru. Apart from these two cities, Teabox has offline retail presence in Pune and Hyderabad. The company sells tea at rates ranging from Rs 6,000-Rs 3 lakh per kilogram. The company recently raised an undisclosed amount in a strategic round of funding by Dubai-based NB Ventures, the family office of Neelesh Bhatnagar and other existing investors. Teabox also claims to have launched India’s most expensive tea, priced at Rs 2,00,000 per kilogram, as part of its ‘Private Reserve’ collection. Teabox’s retail store expansion plan is an out-of-the-box business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-store branding and display projects.
