Spencer’s Retail to spice up with Epicuisine

To cater to the changing needs and food habits of the busy urban population, RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group’s Spencer’s Retail has come up with Epicuisine fresh-food hubs with live kitchens to boot. The food hubs aim to offer customers a “different experience” from other hypermarkets at affordable rates. Epicuisine offers a wide range of fresh, prepared and packaged foods. It has 11 popular world cuisines and popular recipes from across the world. The Group plans 80 hypermarts in the next four to five years, 10-15 percent of which will house an Epicuisine. Rapid expansion plan through this JV move will bring in a fresh business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in in-shop signage, displays, branding and other related activities.
