At the recent Viscom in Frankfurt, Roland DG introduced its DisplayStudio, which is acclaimed to be user-friendly, digital signage solution. The digital display device bagged the BEST of 2014 Award at the expo. The new Texart RT-640 textile printer was also on display for the first time at the expo. The Viscom BEST of 2014 Award was conferred on Roland DisplayStudio under the Software Category. DisplayStudio includes easy-to-use software, a powerful digital media player and LED screen developed especially for digital signage. The jury described it as a simple starter’s package with an attractive price/performance ratio.
On the other side on the floor, the brand new Texart RT-640 (64” or 162.5 cm wide) attracted many interested visitors and this machine is a sublimation printer designed to produce premium print quality, stunning colours and extremely stable production runs. Applications vary from sportswear, soft signage and fashion items to interior decoration and promotional items.
