Roland DG launches Dimense Surface Collaboration Series

Roland DG has launched Dimense Surface, a wallcovering brand using the company’s Dimense printing technology to produce embossed, textured wall coverings for residential, hospitality and commercial environments. Dimense Surface wallcovering gallery window display at the recent London Design Festival. The brand is making its debut at the London Design Festival 2026 with the Dimense Surface Collaboration Series, a collection of wallcoverings created with four design studios: Nice Projects (London), Keiji Ashizawa Design (Tokyo), Loveisenough (New York) and JAM (London).

The Dimense DA-640 printer uses newly developed printheads and a proprietary structural ink that determines where texture appears on the surface. As the media passes through the printer, heat activates the surface, expanding it by up to 0.079 inches (2 mm) to produce contours and surface detail. The collection uses water-based inks and PVC-free, odorless wallpaper material, produced on demand without minimum order requirements. Dimense Surface projects are fulfilled through Roland DG’s network of authorized Dimense print providers. The collection is also available to order directly through the Dimense Surface website.
