Roland DG introduces fluorescent ink for its Texart dye sub printer at drupa 2016

At the ongoing drupa 2016, Roland DG announces the introduction of fluorescent ink formulated specially for its Texart XT-640 and RT-640 dye sublimation printers. Developed for dye-sub transfer printing, Texart printers deliver outstanding print quality and productivity for sportswear, fashion, soft signage, decor, promotional merchandise and much more. The new inks, Fluorescent Pink (Fp) and Yellow (Fy), can be combined with Roland DG’s Texart process ink colours to produce hundreds of vivid fluorescent hues. The proprietary Roland DG Fluor Colour Library swatch palette can be installed in Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW for unmatched ease of use and colour customisation.

This newly introduced fluorescent inks will be available mid-July of 2016 in a configuration of CMYKOrViFpFy for the dye-sub printers, mentioned Deborshi Paul Choudhury of Apsom Infotex Ltd, a sole distributor of the Roland DG printers in India. Texart XT-640 and RT-640 printers are featured with ErgoSoft Roland Edition software RIP. Shown at the company’s stand during the expo include an array of sample textile applications created using the fluorescent ink.
