RICOH announces that it has been recognised in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) 2020, one of the world’s most renowned indices for ESG (environmental, social, and governance) performance. DJSI, compiled by the S&P Dow Jones, is the first global sustainability index to assess a company’s corporate sustainability from its economic, environmental, and social performance. The process is considered most stringent based on the number of questions and the depth of information required. This year’s DJSI World Index list includes 323 companies following a review of approximately 3,500. RICOH has identified seven material issues, set 14 ESG priority targets, and incorporated them into the Group’s business strategies.
