Reliance Digital has nearly tripled the number of its stores in the past one year to become the country’s largest electronic retail chain. With an addition of 16 stores during the last month alone, the total number of Reliance Digital outlets has reached 75, from 27 stores a year ago. During the year ended March 31, 2012, a total of 48 stores were opened by Reliance Digital, which sells consumer durable products and electronics goods across various brands. Also, it has been said that a number of key initiatives have been lined up for this year to further boost the business. Such a growth in the retail sector will bring in a fresh business opportunity to the signage companies dealing in in-shop displays, branding, fabrication and other related activities.
