Monotech Systems Limited has showcased crowd-pulling Pixeljet®UV flatbed printers at the Media Expo Mumbai 2026 held from April 09–11 at Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Mumbai. Pixeljet® impulse, a UV flatbed printer with EPSON i3200 inkjet printhead, and Pixeljet® UVmini, a 3×5’ flatbed printer with highly efficient UV LED technology, were the two key products exhibited by the company at the show. Three units of the machines, two Pixeljet® impulse printers and one Pixeljet® UVmini, had been booked during the show. Manoj Garg, General Manager–Wide Format Graphics, Monotech Systems Limited, said, “In addition to the three confirmed orders, we received tremendous enquiries on the Pixeljet® impulse and Pixeljet® UVmini which were demonstrating live during the show and visitors could engage in hands-on experience of the UV flatbed printers.” He added that most of the enquiries on the printers they received will surely be converted into business in the near future.
Nevertheless, Pixeljet® impulse and Pixeljet® UVmini are perfectly engineered UV printing systems for unconventional applications of all kinds. Capable of printing in CMYK with white and varnish, Pixeljet® impulse is known for its media versatility and capability to cater impressive prints in vibrant colours. It operates at the maximum speed of 400sqft/hr compatibly on a varied range of conventional and non-conventional media comprising paperboard, acrylic, PVC expansion sheet, glass, ceramic, door plank, wood panel, ceiling panel, aluminium panel, etc. It flawlessly handles rigid materials of thicknesses up to 100mm and maximum printing sizes up to 2680mm (width) x 1220mm (depth). As its name suggests, Pixeljet® UVmini is a UV system with a small footprint for big opportunities. In this respect, Mr. Garg stated that Pixeljet® UVmini is not only a machine with a small footprint but also a small investment. Designed perfectly as a suitable solution for small UV printing business enterprises, Pixeljet® UVmini can accommodate varieties of materials for creating textured and vivid colours on mobile covers, corporate gifting, awards, mementoes, trophies, POS/POP displays, etc. It handles maximum print size of 100cm (width) x 160cm (length) of the materials up to the maximum thickness of 7cm with infrared sensor protection.
“Both the Pixeljet® models pulled attention of trade visitors on all three days of Media Expo Mumbai 2026. The machines are designed not only to print and produce the traditional signage graphics or applications which print service providers and sign makers usually do. The UV printers are for unlocking new revenue streams with new applications to tap new customers in the new market domains,” tells Mr. Garg, adding conclusively that crowds of trade visitors at the expo, who are into sign making as well as other allied businesses like gifting and POSM solutions, were smitten by the advanced features, capabilities, and flexibilities of Pixeljet® impulse and Pixeljet® UVmini.
