Pavers’ retail operation in India includes 25 stores and another 50 concessions – totals that should double next year. India provides about 10 percent of revenues at the moment, but is expected to equal the UK in five years. The other arm of the business is Pavers’ Indian shoe chain. The company’s new expansion move is a response to consumers’ demands as there are opportunities for 500-1,000 stores over time. Pavers’ unique plan for the India entry would be an added business advantage for the signage players engaging in in-shop display and graphics jobs.
