Panasonic targets R25,000 cr revenue and big expansion

Panasonic India, the Indian arm of the US$105-billion Panasonic Corporation of Japan, is planning for necessary market push in Tier-II and Tier-III cities apart from enabling the company to have an entire range of products through JV. The company cannot give the exact numbers of washing machines and refrigerators to be sources from other companies, which will manufacture them at its Aurangabad plant, but they hope to become one of the major players in these segments with an ambitious revenue target of Rs 25,000 cr over the next three to four years and an immediate retail expansion. Such robust growth in the retail sector will be new business privilege for the signage companies dealing in the in-store/in-shop signage or displays.
