Mutoh announces the launch of a new ValueJet 1638UH, which is designed for high-speed hybrid printing. This 64 inch UV-LED hybrid printer can take roll and rigid substrates. The new model features dual staggered printheads and dual UV lamps, a design engineered to push print speed up to 220 sq ft/hr and decrease cure time. PSPs using this new hybrid system can print on media up to a ½ inch thick with maximum resolution of 1440 dpi. Available configurations of the printer include dual CMYK or CMYK + white + varnish. The 1638UH also features Intelligent Interweave printing, designed to eliminate banding. Packed with this new printer are Mutoh Edition FlexiSign & Print software and ValueJet Status Monitor app for remote monitoring.
