Luxury design house Christian Dior has finally opened its doors in Mumbai, at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. Housed in the same wing as regulars like Louis Vuitton and Moschino, the store has a selection of garments, bags, shoes, sunglasses, and watches, along with a few pieces of jewellery from the current Autumn-Winter collection. Mumbai’s balmy weather doesn’t leave much room to retail within an Autumn-Winter collection. With the exception of the high-end store, in-store signage players will find a new opportunity to hit a new road to broader business.
