Kishore Biyani to unveil malls for wholesaler retailers

Kishore Biyani, one of the leading key players in the India’s organised retail industry, has now trained his sights on the wholesale segment. The company will build malls for wholesalers. World Market, which is what the new mall will be called, the first of these malls will open in Bangalore this year. World Market will allow wholesalers to own shop space of 200-500 sq ft in an air-conditioned mall and the mall is being positioned as an expansion option for wholesalers housed in traditional markets that are often overcrowded and inaccessible. Mushrooming of such mall in is a green signal for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-store displays and related activities.
