ITMA 2019 shows array of digital inkjet textile printers and printing solutions

Held every four years since 1951, ITMA has reinforced its reputation as the world’s leading textile and garment technology exhibition. The ongoing 18th edition of the expo (June 20-26 at Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via, Barcelona, Spain) witnesses more than 1,500 exhibitors from 45 countries including a host of inkjet machine manufacturers such as ColorJet India, Mimaki, EFI Reggiani, Kornit Digital, Durst and others including Caldera, Summa and Zund. ColorJet India, which is platinum sponsor at ITMA 2019, introduces Vastrajet- 8164, a direct-to-fabric printer that provides outstanding performance, increased productivity, superior printing accuracy with minimal maintenance needs.

Mimaki at its stall demonstrates TX300P-1800 printer, a brand new hybrid digital textile printer from the TX300P Series, which features both direct-to-textile and transfer print capabilities. On other side, EFI showcases advanced leading-edge technologies including its game-changing EFI Reggiani BOLT single-pass inkjet printer capable to produce high-quality output at 90 linear m/min. During the expo, EFI also announces its new Reggiani BOLT Capsule proofing printer model. Durst at its stall unveils the Alpha comprehensive technology platform, which consists of the Alpha Series 5 190 and 330 printing systems. Kornit Digital brings its latest innovative and sustainable solutions for industrial digital textile printing to the expo—the new Kornit Presto, a single-step solution for direct-to-fabric printing, suitable for home décor and fashion markets.

Zünd features its Over Cutter Camera OCC and advanced optical system that cut patterned and digitally printed fabrics. Similarly, Belgian company Summa, which manufactures highest quality cutters, showcased its L1810 laser cutter, a 1.8 m wide laser cutter designed help customers stay ahead of the game with its exceptional high productivity. Software major Camera presents a range of new technologies and product updates which includes a new version of its TextilePro, a production suite for textile printing. Other key exhibitors showing their textile printing machines and technologies at ITMA 2019 are d.gen (Korea), A-TEX (Malaysia), Kerajet (Spain) and others. The next edition of the expo in 2013 will be held in Milan, Italy at Fiera Milano Rho exhibition centre from June 8-14.
