ITC plans for exclusive outlets for fashion sub-brands

ITC is now foraying into e-commerce business with its Wills Lifestyle retailing business and plans to set up standalone exclusive outlets for its sub-brands such as casual wear Wills Sports, work wear Wills Classic, and exclusive men and women wear stores. The new strategy of the company is to expand penetration at a time when consumers are segmenting their wardrobe with apparel to suit each occasion on which analysts say it will boost non-cigarette FMCG business margins. The company says they will open 20 new Wills Lifestyle stores this fiscal in tier-II markets such as Guwahati, Jodhpur, Jamshedpur, Udaipur and Gangtok. Such expansion plan of the company will boost business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in in-shop designs, displays and related activities.
