Global furniture major IKEA will lay the foundation stone in Hyderabad on August 11 for its first store in India that will open next year. After completion of the construction, the outlet is expected to open somewhere in July-August next year. According to a source from the company, the Swedish firm is planning to build a 400,000 sq ft store in the city, which will also include a 1,000-seater restaurant serving Swedish cuisine, besides Indian and others. This can be counted as one of the biggest ever business opportunities for the signage companies whose jobs revolve around in-store branding, designs and such tasks.
