The newly launched compact HP Latex R530 hybrid printer seamlessly handles both rigid and flexible materials, operates on single-phase power, utilises an Intuitive touch screen for fast, easy printer navigation, and is capable of printing vibrant solids, smooth gradients and high quality white ink on rigid and flexible media. The printer handles sizes up to 1.6m (64”) wide boards, 5cm (2”) maximum media thickness and runs at speeds up to 24sqm/hr, offering versatile applications from Retail, Window Graphics and Décor, through to Indoor and Outdoor Signage.
Target customers for the HP Latex R530 Printer traditionally use a Print & Mount technique, using rigid material and sticking a self-adhesive vinyl on top. With the HP Latex R530 Printer, they would print directly on the rigid material, saving on average 250sqm of self-adhesive vinyl per month, thus reducing the amount of material used and disposed of. The printer uses UL ECOLOGO Certified HP 832 and 873 Inks, which come in 3-litre cartridges and meet a range of stringent human health and environmental considerations. In addition to its versatility and high impact sustainability benefits – even the printer itself is made of 25 percent recycled plastic and includes returnable maintenance cartridges – the HP Latex R530 Printer requires less operational space than any conventional 4×8 ft flatbed printer (which typically occupies over 28sqm). This allows for better space efficiency in customer facilities. (Source: WFO)
