At drupa 2016, which is now set to organise from May 31 – June 10 at Dusseldorf, Gandy Digital will be showing its newly introduced Fascin8tor alongside Sofjet and other wide-format printers. Released recently, Fascin8tor is a five meter roll-to-roll printer with very low ink consumption, without compromising print quality and regardless of speed. This allows PSPs to increase productivity, extend their application portfolio and maximise job profitability. Fascin8tor combines eight RICOH Gen4 printheads per colour to produce optimum print resolution of 1,200 dpi at the speed of up to 320 sq m/hr and it can handle substrates up to 50 mm thick.
Gandy Digital Fascin8tor uses fixed dot printing to ensure cost-effective, yet very high print quality in all printing modes and speeds. Built on the success of the company’s other flagship printers, Fascin8tor enables printing directly onto mesh without a liner for applications including outdoor billboards. Softjet – a direct to fabric roll-to-roll sublimation printer is yet another printer Gandy Digital is showing in the expo. This textile printer uses environmentally safe water-based inks to provide vibrant and durable colours and it features the latest ROCOH Gen 5 printheads.
