The newly launched EPSON SureColor SC-T2100, the smallest large-format system in its range of T-Series printers that has appealed to a wide range of businesses. The 24-inch printer can sit on a desktop or on its own stand and has the ability to produce professional documents such as posters, presentations, CAD schematics and architectural and engineering designs. Major features in the system include auto-switching functionality that enables the printer to swap between large-format roll paper and A4/A3 cut sheet paper, without the need to touch the printer.
SureColor SC-T2100 also runs with EPSON UltraChrome XD2 pigment inks, which the manufacturer said deliver ‘durable archival prints with brilliant colour and crisp lines’ on almost all paper types for indoor and outdoor usage. The new system also benefits from EPSON’s PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead technology and Nozzle Verification Technology, as well as integrated wireless and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity. The latter, Epson said, will allow users to print from tablets and smartphones, as well as the fitted touchscreen panel.
