Following on from the success of the Digitl Ink VTV product range (Versatile Textile and Vinyl – Mild Solvent Inks) which are able to print to the highest standards onto both Textile & Vinyl substrates, the company has been working on two new water based inks which are designed to also print directly onto a wide range of textiles and fabrics.
Digitl Ink states that the aims of the company aim is to produce durable print, direct to textile rather than via sublimation, with inks which are more environmentally friendly and do not require room ventilation, which is often a requirement when using solvent based inks for these purposes. The first Digitl Ink Tex-AD inks are water-based acid dyes – nylon, wool and silk substrates, deep pile substrates (carpet) and tile printing, towel. The second ink, Digitl Ink Tex-PG is water-based pigment inks which are formulated for digital textile printing where additional lightfastness or durability are a pre-requisite.
