ColorJet opens new prospects of soft signage applications

At the recent Media Expo 2015, held in New Delhi, ColorJet unveiled its latest Softjet Grand grand-format soft signage printer, signaling the onset of the company’s move towards eco-friendly products and also solution to print directly on fabrics for soft signage production–indeed an optimisation for replacement of PVC-based media. Of the amazing applications that can be developed by this printer include stunning backlits along with flexible displays. Smarth Bansal, brand manager, ColorJet said, “Consumers have now become more aware of the effects that everyday chemicals have on the environment and their own health, due to which soft signage is now becoming widely popular internationally.” He added that the launching of ‘Softjet Grand’ has targeted particularly the producers of soft signage range comprising flags, banners, hoardings, demo tents, vibrant backlits, etc.

Softjet Grand comes with proprietary RIP software along with specially developed AIVC technology for consistent print performance by maintaining constant jetting conditions even in varying environmental situations. The printer is featured with high-tech features like inflatable rods for uninterrupted media loading, variable drop technology for sharper images, automatic wiping system for consistent head performance and many more features. The digital printer also helps in reducing costs, due to the light weight of the printed media, which is easy to handle and transport and further reduces the application time and labour. The live demo of the machine pulled huge crowd during the Media Expo 2015.
