Biba plans for flagship stores by next year

Women’s ethnic wear brand, Biba, plans to add unstitched fabrics to its existing range of products. The company also plans to set up larger flagship stores across India. The women’s ethnic wear market at present stands at Rs 31,000 crore and is set to grow at 10 per cent to reach Rs 45,000 crore in 2014. This company, which sells readymade salwar kameez and mix-and-match apparel, plans to expand its range in the next few years. There is a big market for unstitched fabrics and we want to tap this segment and the flagship stores will be set up in six locations over the next 12 months.  Such a big boost in the company’s stores plan will be an added opportunity for new business for the signage companies dealing in in-store signs and displays.
