The high-end UV-LED swissQprint Kudu printer is now compatible with Caldera RIP. This further expands Caldera’s portfolio of supported peripherals for large-format printing. The Kudu was launched at FESPA 2022 in Berlin, and became the most universal flatbed printer of swissQprint’s large format range. In terms of creativity, versatility and productivity, the Kudu ticks all the boxes of a high-end model with 10 colour channels and its 3.2 x 2m table.
Kudu is fast and precise as within one hour PSPs can print up to 300 sq m – that’s about 8 times the area of a boxing ring. The print heads have a maximum resolution of 1350 dpi. For every droplet to land spot-on, it takes a stable foundation. Kudu handles practically any material. This includes roll media up to 3.2 m wide, because PSPs can equip Kudu with a roll to roll option. In addition to CMYK, users can supplement the process colours with up to six additional channels: light colours, white, varnish, orange, neon or primer for maximum application diversity.
