Wasatch announces the launch of an automation option which allows additional capacity wide-format print production. This solution is ideally of principal interest to software developers and system integrators. It is a powerful way to streamline orders, eliminate production errors, increase productivity, and run print production effectively. Integration with existing business systems is done through the Wasatch API, which is accessible via popular scripting languages such as PHP, Python, Node JS, and Ruby. Sample source code demonstrates a variety of applications, using Wasatch SoftRIP’s embedded Python interpreter. Capability and features of the Wasatch automation include smart nesting from hot folders, load balancer from hot folders, custom HTML interfaces, email status reporting, point-of-sale (POS) solutions, barcode ‘pull’ of prints on demand, automated DTG printing, etc.
