Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has added more than 150 exclusive brand stores this calendar year and will be adding a similar number of outlets next year too in a bid to expand its presence in the Indian brick-and-mortar market, a source from the company said. With the expansion this year, the company now has 500 exclusive franchisee-run stores spread across 280 towns. With its extensive offline network of 70,000 general trade stores, 4,000 modern trade outlets and 500 exclusive stores, the company shall continue to focus on offering a premium experiential retail experience. Vivo’s retail expansion plan is a fresh business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-shop branding, designing and display projects.
