Vision Express, the 50:50 JV between Reliance Retail and GrandVision BV, launches its first store at Salem in Tamil Nadu. With the establishment of this store in the state, the company is now present in 30 cities with a network of 162 stores. Spread over 800 sq ft, the new store is located in Reliance Mart and it boasts the widest collection of eyewear with over 800 international designs, the company said in a release. Shanmuga Sundaram, Professor of Ophthalmology and Consultant Eye Surgeon at Vinayaka Missions KV Medical College, Salem, inaugurated the store and the constant unveiling of such high-end outlet in the region is an added business advantage for the signage companies engaging in in-shop designs, branding and related jobs.
