Vijetha Supermarkets, one of the biggest Food and Grocery retailers in Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh, opened its 93rd store in Hyderabad. With more than 70 stores spanning over 4.5 lakh sq ft in the retail area, the newest store was set up in a record time of 11 hours from the time the land premises was handed over. While on one hand the racks and fixtures were being fitted on the hand they were getting set up with necessary stocks, simultaneously another team was in charge of painting the walls and wiring and electrical fittings. Rapid store expansion in the retail domain is a new business opportunity for the signage companies working for in-store branding and such applications.
