The Global Wide-Format Printers Industry report reveals that amid the COVID-19 crisis, the global market for wide-format printers is estimated at USD3.4 billion in the year 2020 and projected to reach a revised size of USD 4 billion by 2027, growing at a CAGR of 2.5 percent over the analysis period (2020-2027).

Aqueous, one of the segments analysed in the report, is projected to grow at a 2.5 percent CAGR to reach USD1.8 billion by the end of the analysis period. After an early analysis of the business implications of the pandemic and its induced economic crisis, growth in the solvent segment is readjusted to a revised 2.5 percent CAGR for the next seven years. This segment currently accounts for a 22.9 percent share of the global wide-format printing market. Among the noteworthy growing markets are Japan and Canada, each forecast to grow at 0.6 percent and 1.8 percent respectively over the period 2020-2027.
