Value fashion and lifestyle products retailer V-Mart Retail plans to invest up to Rs 70 cr to open around 40 stores in 2020-21. The company already has 260 stores in almost 195 locations across the country, largely in tier-2 and 3 cities. The company’s strategy is to expand in the underserved tier-2 and 3 markets which have helped them in growth. Also, since 70 percent of V-Mart’s offerings are private labels which have contributed in margin improvement, despite the slowdown. Such a strategic move of the company will bring fresh business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-store branding and graphic displays.
