V-Mart Retail is now planning to open five new stores in West Bengal to tap the potential in suburban markets of the state. The new stores will be unveiled this fiscal and the target will be the suburb market in Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns in the state. With a turnover of Rs 750 crore, V-Mart was having 108 stores across 93 cities across 12 states covering 8.9 lakh square feet, including some flagship stores in metros like Delhi. Gradual expansion of stores in all corners across the country will bring in a fresh business opportunity to signage players whose activities revolve around in-shop branding, designs and related jobs.
