Fashion retailer V-Mart will invest around Rs 40 crore to open 20 new stores by the end of this financial year. It is the company’s move that will significantly ramp up its retail footprint in tier II and tier III cities. The company has launched more than 50 stores in the last 9 months to take the total number of V-Mart outlets to 253. The average store size of V-Mart is 8,000 sq ft. The company will invest around Rs 115 crore to open 60 stores in the current financial year. Such big store expansion plan of V-Mart is an added business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-store branding and graphic projects.
