Reported to be of £100 million, the UK government has launched its largest ever public information campaign to get the country ‘ready for Brexit’. Covering billboards, television adverts and social media, the campaign for getting the UK ready for Brexit is believed to be the largest advertising blitz since World War-II. According to government research, 50 percent of the population think it’s likely the UK will leave the EU on October 31, with 42 percent of small-to-medium sized businesses unsure of how they can ‘get ready’ and 31 percent of the public sought out information on how to prepare. This campaign will encourage the country to come together to Get Ready for Brexit on 31 October, 2019.

The campaign is targeting those most likely to be affected by Brexit – UK citizens intending to travel to Europe and exporters to the EU. Alongside a campaign, the government has also launched a new ‘checker tool’ on the Gov.uk website with how-to videos and step-by-step guides for business owners, hauliers or EU citizens residing in the UK.
