Trent Hypermart, which operates Star Bazaar hypermarkets, is planning to launch three more outlets by the end of 2012 at an investment of around Rs 30 crore. This will take the number of Star Bazaar outlets to 18; the company is investing about Rs 8-10 crore per outlets. In addition, this Tata Group-promoted retail chain is playing big on the health card. It will be launching a separate segment in its outlets called ‘Healthy Choices’, which will have food products from Britannia, Tropicana, 24 Letters, Tetley, Borges, Dabur and McVities among other international and domestic brands. Indeed a fresh business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities deeply involve into in-shop designs, branding, fabrications, etc.
