Toonz Retail targets 200 stores by 2019

Kidswear retailer Toonz Retail plans to increase its store count to 200 from the current 100 outlets and also touch revenues of Rs 100 crore by fiscal 2019. The newly introduced stores will be opened in smaller cities, since the company has a lower cost of operations and they will be in the ratio of 70 per cent of stores in cities and the rest in metros. Toonz Retail has opened 20 outlets in the previous years and has plans to open 24 more stores in 2017, will also diversify its product portfolio in its two private labels. Being a sunshine sector for the signage companies, rapid outlet expansion in the retail domain will be an added business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-shop graphic displays and branding.
