Agro-chemical major, Crystal Phosphates Ltd, forayed into character merchandise sectorwith the launch of its international kids brand, under Toonz Retail India Private Limited, in Bangalore. The high-end kids store is planning to add 10 more stores by January 2011 and 14 more by February 2011, mainly in Tier II cities. Toonz currently has 12 stores across India, with three in Bangalore. Expansion of the kids stores will bring a swift change in the signage market where players dealing with in-store companies would gain a new business.
