Jewellery retailer Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ) plans to open 16 stores during the current fiscal. The retailer is launching a free summer camp on jewellery education for women to help them identify genuine quality jewellery. In a filing with the stock exchanges, the Mumbai-based jeweller announced since it went public in May 2012, it has opened 12 stores in cities like Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Vapi, Aurangabad, etc. The company now has 26 stores in twenty cities across seven states. During 2013-14, TBZ plans to open 16 stores, taking the number of retail outlets to 42 stores. This mega move of the company would bring in a fresh business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in in-shop displays and other related items.
