Tata International to enter branded footwear segment

Moving up the value chain, Tata International, the global trading arm of the salt to software conglomerate, is entering the branded space in footwear with three brands for men and one for women. Tata International is one of India’s leading manufacturer, exporter and supply chain integrator of leather and leather products, including footwear. Footwear contributes Rs 700 crore to Tata International. And with this, the company in India is planning to get started with the multi-brand outlets. Such big move of the company towards the retail front is a new business opportunity for the signage players whose activities are involved in in-shop displays, designs and other related activities.
