Country’s first and largest jewellery retail store chain Tanishq will open 15 new retail stores in various parts of the country in the 2011-12 fiscal. Of the 15, five would be large-format stores of 10,000-15,000 sq ft which would be company stores. A 22,000 square feet showroom is coming up at Mumbai soon, besides large stores at Kolkata and Delhi. The Tanishq retail chain includes 121 exclusive boutiques, including two Zoya stores, in 76 cities. Tanishq, relaunched its Kochi showroom as an all- diamond showroom, first of its kind in the country. The glitter that could be gained with the launch of these jewelelry stores will be for the PSPs, fabricators and others engaging in the in-shop signage.
