Titan’s jewellery brand Tanishq is looking towards consolidation by merging its gold plus outlets with an aim to expand its presence in the south Indian market. According to a source from the company, it has been said that in rural south India, where gold plus outlets have more of plain gold jewellery, the stores would now have more varieties of studded jewellery, belonging to the Tanishq portfolio and the company is focusing on expanding its large format-retail store concept. Tanishq also re-launched its showroom in Velachery, Chennai. Gradual unveiling of new outlets around major cities across the country is an added business advantage for the signage companies, which have expertise in in-store graphics and branding.
