Tanishq eyes 25-30 new large-format stores every year

Tata Group’s jewellery brand Tanishq, in its bid to increase its share, is planning to open 25-30 large format stores every year across India and invest in marketing and design innovation. The company now operates 131 Tanishq stores in 76 cities across the country. After launching ‘Mia’ for working women, Tanishq has recently unveiled a new ‘Glam Gold Collection’ inspired by the traditional Nakkashi technique of Tamil Nadu. Mega expansion plan of the jwellery major will boost the business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in the retail sector.
