SwissQprint introduces Nyala precision flatbed printer at drupa 2012

SwissQprint launches Nyala, its new precision flatbed printer, for the first time at the ongoing drupa 2012 at Dusseldorf, Germany. The new printer has a width of 3.2 m and can be equipped with fourfold CMYK – quadrupling the output compared to a basic configuration. Either 3.2×1.6 m board material or 3.2 m roll material can be printed with the basic configuration or with the roll to roll option.

Increased productivity of Nyala has been enabled with the introduction of ‘four times CMYK’ – meaning four print heads per colour, including white, printing simultaneously. The draft printing mode allows the Nyala to print up to 200 sq m/h – double the speed of an Impala model.
