After getting FDI approval for single brand retail, sportswear firm Puma is very bullish about Indian market and expects categories such as women’s products, running and sport style range to drive future growth. As part of the move, the sportswear major is excited about boosting category wise, in which they would go about the women’s products, running and sport style products and the big deal is that the company has got government’s approval to set up its own retail and e-commerce operations in India. Puma has opened about 25 stores this year in India. It currently operates 350 stores in 110 cities. Puma’s further expansion move is an added business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-shop branding and graphic projects.
