Spar Hypermarket, a division of Dubai-based Landmark Group, will increase its stores in India by 50 percent from the present 18 in the next 24 months, according to a source from the company. With plans to open a Spar Hypermarket at Bengaluru soon in near future, the company will have another 10 stores, including Tamil Nadu, in the coming two years. Considering this, Spar will focus on Tier II cities like Coimbatore, to tap business potential for the benefit of customers. This strategic expansion move of the hypermarket chain will bring in a fresh business opportunity for the signage companies whose jobs involve in-store branding, displays and such activities.
