Sony India plans to spend Rs 150 crore to market its latest LED TV range this year. As part of its strategy to maintain market leadership in the flat-panel segment, the company will expand its channel network to 6,000 outlets. The market for LED TVs has been steadily increasing over the past one year. Sony sold close to 8-lakh Bravia TVs last year and the number is expected to go up to 12 lakh by the end of this financial year. Such expansion plan of Sony India will be an added advantage for the signage companies involving extensively in the retail domain.
