Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn (SLCL), a leading player in the Indian textile segment, is launching its exclusive Weaves retail outlets in tier II cities. The company is set to open 100 franchisee operated Weaves stores in 50 cities, in the next two years. SLCL will open the new outlets at an investment of Rs 10 crore. SLCL is a 35-year-old company with headquarters in Kanpur. The group plans to hit the developing cities and towns market to maximise profits and make Weaves a household name. This will bring in a fresh business opportunity for the signage companies, such as PSPs, fabricators, sign makers, etc who have been in the retail sector.
