Shell announces that they are gearing up to open 1200 fuel retail outlets in India, which has the potential to create around 200,000 jobs in the next decade. Currently, the company operates around 120 petrol stations across the country. According to source from the company, every Shell fuel retail outlet in India can create between 50 and 70 jobs and the opening of 1,200 outlets can create close to 1 lakh jobs. In addition to job opportunity, Shell’s fuel retail outlets will also be a new business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in retail outlet branding and graphic applications.
