Reliance setting up small stores for last-mile delivery

Reliance Retail is ramping up a new network of its grocery stores that will also be used for last-mile delivery of food and grocery as part of the company’s ambitious omni-channel venture. The company plans to open thousands of small outlets called Reliance Smart Points in various cities in neighbourhoods as part of its omni-channel play. These Smart Points will measure between 500 sq ft and 1,500 sq ft each. Reliance Retail’s new move towards omni-channel venture is a new business opportunity for the signage companies engaging in in-store graphic and branding projects.
