Reliance Retail is all set to open stores in more small cities and towns over the next year under aggressive expansion targets that the Reliance Industries unit has set for itself. The company’s sales topped Rs 33,000 crore in the fiscal year ended March 31, achieving growth of 60 percent over the previous year. Reliance Retail opened 371new stores last year, which it claimed was an unprecedented expansion in the retail industry in India. The company is the only organised retailer with a significant presence in the northeast and planning to expand more in the region, This retail expansion move of the company will be an added business advantage for the signage companies whose activities involve in-store displays, designs and such activities.
